The smooth side is gorgeous enough that I left it out on the counter between uses, but the real surprise is how solid it feels during prep—no sliding around at all. The FSC-certified wood gives it a nice weight that makes chopping feel deliberate.

This board is honestly too pretty for my kitchen, I keep it out on the counter just to show it off. The wood feels substantial and well-made, and the grooved side catches all the juice when I’m carving fruit.
