At the heart of Tortugaware’s dinner plate lies the sculpted edge—a distinctive form that engages the eye and welcomes the hand. Designed to feel extraordinary in the hands and to stack like sculptures, these modern stoneware dinner plates build undulating landscapes across the table. Each plate has a substantial clay body that gives it weight, presence, and durability for modern living. Microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe up to 300°F.

Made in Mexico.

James L. ★★★★★

The way these plates stack is honestly a small work of art—they nestle together like they were made to be handled. I keep catching myself just running a thumb along that sculpted rim while they sit in the cupboard.

The sculpted edge makes these plates feel like little pieces of art every time I set the table, and they stack so neatly in the cupboard it’s almost satisfying. Eating off them is a small daily upgrade I didn’t expect.

Lily ★★★★★

The sculpted edge is such a nice touch—it catches the light differently from every angle, and they stack together so neatly it’s almost satisfying to put them away. Eating off these feels a bit more special than my old plain set, and they’ve held up great in the dishwasher so far.
