The stand alone is worth it—my knives finally have a permanent home on the counter instead of rattling around in a drawer. The high-carbon steel edge glides through a ripe tomato like it’s nothing, and after two weeks of daily use, it still feels as sharp as day one.
The Japanese stainless steel holds its edge beautifully through a week of meal prep, and the high carbon content gives it that satisfying bite when slicing tomatoes. The trio sits on the stand like it's meant to be admired, which it absolutely is—I find myself reaching for these over any other knife
The knife stand is what sold me—it's sturdy enough to keep the trio displayed without wobbling. The Japanese steel blades have held their edge through a week of heavy meal prep, and cutting through butternut squash felt effortless.
